Sanderson,  by Sander 269 out of Querine (Stam 50), is a FHANA registered , 16.2hh Friesian stallion.

He has sport horse type gaits, with that strong baroque type build.  Imagine your favorite warmblood and add the Friesian power.  That's the movement you get crossing with him.

His oldest daughter, Moonlight Sonata, was consistently in the ribbons, often winning her in hand classes in open competition and earning several year end awards.  She is now approved ISR OLD as well.  His oldest son, Spartacus H at 4 attended his first show under saddle earning a 60 and 63 while a mounted shooting competition was being held in another part of the same facility.  He demonstrates not only the lovely gaits, but also the great temperament Sanderson produces.

Sanderson's get have all proven him to be a prepotent sire. They are all high quality horses with powerful, uphill correct gaits, extremely easy to train and very intelligent. The three started thus far have been solid citizens, no bucking, rearing, etc. and by the third ride fully accepting.

He, himself, is great fun to ride as well as have around.  He has so much personality, and is a gentleman in every respect.

A catastrophic shoulder injury as a weanling has kept him out of the show ring, but he has had many therapies in his life, including swimming and stem cells, and he has approached all with enthusiasm . He is a most exuberant horse in all he does.
